Essential Job Functions
Start up the press and dust collectors and the beginning of the shift.
Weigh the tablets and inspect according to standard.
Operate the Baldwin press according to procedure.
Make adjustments to the press based on quality output.
Sift and keep boric canisters full.
Keep the area clean and up to 5S standards.
Shut down the machine and clean up at the end of a shift
Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.
• Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.
• Basic mathematics skills required.
• Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised
